Per Bylaws (Article 13, Section 4-d): “No residential dwelling shall be altered, modified, reconstructed or changed except when the Board of Directors has approved a request for such modification and permits have been issued by the City of Alameda. Any such alterations, construction, reconstruction or modifications shall not adversely affect the structural integrity of any original structure…”
